Ask a question about Cinnamon before you buy. We answer within a business day.

Give it a year and the difference is obvious. The copper you collect from the courier is the palest this animal will ever be.

Cinnamon is a standard copper axolotl, the classic warm brown version of the morph. Rich copper across the back fading to cream underneath, with fine dark speckling that catches the light. Standard coppers are the benchmark for the morph and this is a textbook example, good colour saturation and no washed out patches.

Solid, chunky through the body and a reliable eater. An easy first axolotl. Confident at feeding time, taking soft pellets and chopped earthworm alike. Nothing here ships until it is eating on its own.

Cinnamon was photographed on its own and priced on its own merits, not to a morph rate card. Boxed with oxygen, a cool pack and damp foam, and into Brisbane in one to two business days. Wondering why this one is priced where it is? Axolotl prices in Australia explains the bands.

Questions about Cinnamon

Can Cinnamon be delivered to Brisbane?

Yes. Sent to Brisbane it arrives in one to two business days, dispatched Monday to Wednesday only. Worth knowing before you order: Brisbane humidity and warm nights make a chiller or a cool room the first thing to sort out.

Is Cinnamon a good first axolotl?

Yes, this is one of the easier morphs to start with. Copper is the morph that looks better at twelve months than at four, and it feeds itself while it gets there.

How big will Cinnamon get?

Cinnamon is 10 cm now and should finish between 18 and 25 cm. That is the size we consider ready to travel, grown enough to handle a day in a box.
