Expect the brightest glow through the gills, the spine and the tail fin, where the tissue is thinnest.

Gizmo is a GFP wild type axolotl with a heavier, more defined pattern than most wild types. Dark olive base with strong gold speckling concentrated in bands down the flanks. Under blue light the green fluorescence pushes through the darker pigment, giving a mottled rather than uniform glow. A genuinely interesting animal to look at both ways.

Sturdy, unfussy and one of the easier animals here for a beginner. Eating soft sinking pellets and chopped earthworm, and holding good body condition on it. We confirm a feed before any animal is packed.
