Under ordinary light a GFP animal looks like its underlying morph. The green only appears with a blue torch, and the trait itself affects nothing about its health.

Blaze is a GFP copper axolotl with bright gills and a warm, evenly saturated body. Standard copper tone with the GFP gene underneath, so the daylight appearance is a clean warm brown and the night appearance is green. The gill filaments are noticeably red against the copper, which is where the name came from.
